Power outages

Be ready in case of an outage

Every outage is different. Select an outage on the map to find out:

  • when service is expected to be restored
  • the crew status
  • how many customers are affected
  • the cause of the outage, when known

See the Power outages map

Although we make every effort to restore power as quickly as possible, it can sometimes be difficult to know the exact time when power will return. This information is provided for indicative purposes, as is the rest (causes, number of customers without power, etc.). Outage areas are approximate and some of them may not be on the map. See the Power outages map Terms of use

Be ready in case of an outage

You can take certain measures to prepare for an outage, such as drawing up a list of emergency numbers, unplugging your electronics and inspecting your electrical installations. Here’s what we recommend you do before, during and after an outage or a planned service interruption:

Planned service interruption

A planned service interruption is the voluntary interruption of the electrical supply at a set time so that crews can carry out work safely. Customers are notified a few days in advance and can track the status of the work from our Power outages online service or with our mobile app.

  • Before
  • During
  • After

Your best ally in the event of an outage.

Use our mobile app to report an outage and stay abreast of the situation. Sign up for alerts to receive a message if the anticipated service restoration time changes and/or once service is restored.
