Daniel‑Johnson dam and Manic‑5 generating station

Step aboard a virtual bus and discover a monumental symbol of Québec engineering that’s recognized the world over: the largest multiple arch and buttress dam on the planet. This structure holds back Manicouagan reservoir, a vast body of water that fills an immense crater known as the “eye of Québec.” The dam alone is testament to the bold vision and expertise of its builders.

You’ll also visit Manic‑5‑PA, an underground generating station, and learn more about the history of this epic construction project.
