Funding for field trip transportation
Hydro-Québec takes part in the Science Culture component of La culture à l’école [in French only] (Culture in the Schools Program), which gives students a chance to visit organizations with a scientific focus. The program covers part of the cost of field trips, including transportation.
The company also participates in Une école montréalaise pour tous (A Montréal School for All), a program offering elementary schools in underprivileged areas preferential rates for transport to the Électrium (code JP506), and two generating stations, Rivière‑des‑Prairies (code JP504) and Beauharnois (code JP501).
Virtual guided tours
We’d love to welcome you in person, but if your class or group isn’t able to travel, here’s an easy solution for all: a virtual guided facility tour in real time. The next best thing to being there!
