November 2025 – Hydro‑Québec received a Mitacs innovation award for its pioneering role in creating a sustainable energy future and for supporting research and development.

Prix Partenariat
Prix Innovation awarded by the Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l'innovation du Québec (ADRIQ)
November 2025 – Hydro‑Québec received this honour alongside Drone Volt and Nucleom for developing the LINEDRONE robotic platform used to inspect live high-voltage lines (315 kV). Hydro-Québec was also a finalist in three other categories:

June 2025 – Hydro‑Québec received seven awards in the 2025 Idéa competition showcasing excellence in creative communication in Québec, including the prestigious 2025 grand prize for digital products and experiences for our energy mix game Mission 2035.

April 2025 – Hydro‑Québec received top honours in Corporate Knights magazine’s very first ranking of the most sustainable public-sector companies in the world. This ranking recognizes public-sector companies from around the world that display strong performance in sustainable development and that are laying the foundations for the global energy transition.

April 2025 – Hydro‑Québec placed first in Canada’s largest annual study on reputation. To determine this ranking, Léger polled 17,259 individuals in Québec to gather their insights on 417 local businesses operating in 35 activity sectors.

Overall excellence award for the Québec and Eastern Ontario chapter
American Concrete Institute
March 2025 – La Romaine‑4 hydroelectric dam project received the overall excellence award for the Québec and Eastern Ontario chapter, in addition to an excellence award in the Infrastructure category.
